Osman & Gibson the partnership

You were doing well until you said we should play Naismith.

I want to see him upfront/through the middle. Playing him RM is like playing Jelavic there. He's not a winger. Give him a chance in a natural position. I thought he played a lot better RM yesterday anyway. Still, I don't want to see him there.

could we not just simply swap Osman and Fellaini? Would that work? Keep Pienaar left and Mirallas right. Fellaini & Gibson in the middle. Jelavic/Anichebe up front

As a partnership I think they are pretty underwhelming to be honest, last season the Fellaini/Gibson partnership was superb, so of course Moyes has broke that up for the sake of having someone tall upfront, after the abject failure in the transfer window its been pretty obvious we needed to pair up Felli and gibbo again, except to one man that it

Can't see Osman chesting down the hoofs and laying off like Felli does, can you? Moyes likes Felli up top because it makes his instruction to 'hit the front man' look like an actual tactic, which of course it is, but in a Sunday League and not in the Prem.

change of tactics as well then. Jags gives it to a midfielder, they put it wide, wide men/full backs then cross it in. I know i'm making it sound alot more simple than it is but with more crosses going in, and Osman maybe slipping more balls in for Jelavic, he may just start scoring again... If he can time a run properly for once

Ive been a bit disappointed with Gibson since he came back after the injury. He should be going for balls and taking it forward instead of just moving the ball around with a side pass. I like Osman in a creative role but he's not cut out for the physical stuff in midfield. Gibson needs to take the midfield by the scruff of the neck and boss it more as he seems to be coasting a bit.

For me gibsons doing his job. Show for the ball and pass it on, sort of dictating the pace of the game. He's not a ball winner and he's not creative. He needs someone next to him to do the dirty work (winning it back)

.......I have to admit that Gibson has surprised me. I couldn't understand why United persisted but I shouldn't have doubted Fergie, he has looked supreme for us. I'm also a massive Osman fan, lads who have come through the ranks are often underestimated and I think that is the case with the little fella. Saying that, I think this is an area where Moyes would seriously like to strengthen with the type of midfielder who can add power and pace - Fer is an indication of where he would like to go.

When you have a player like Fellaini and don't play him in center mid you might be a rubbish manager. How many players can Moyes fit in the side who are out of position. He loves putting strikers out wide, defenders in midfield, midfielders up front. The man is clueless.

Thats his masterplan to confuse the opposition and his own team.
Do you really think howard is a keeper he is a closet right back

Was thinking of all the players that he's played out of position today. Naismith is the main one and it's the main reason why he is universally hated by the fans. He isnt a winger!
