Q1. Has the season so far gone as you expected?

Not at all. I was expecting us to be around 6th or 7th at best, we've had a great first half of the season (as have you !)

Q2. The transfer window is currently open, in which positions do Everton need to strengthen most?

Central midfielder and an attacking player (winger/striker) would be grand.

Q3. The game at The Hawthorns finished 2-0. What were your opinions on that game? A fair result?

Yes. We were shocking and you were very good.

Q4. Do you think you have a good chance of finishing in Europe?

I'd like to think so. Would be disappointed if we finished lower than 6th at this point.

Q5. What are your sides strengths and weaknesses?

Weaknesses - Not putting games to bed and letting the opposition get a result, poor options from the bench, injuries
Strengths - Great team spirit, one of the best left side partnerships in the league.

Q6. Which players should we be wary of in your side, and who do you fear the most in ours?

Fellaini, Baines, and Mirallas. Lukaku scares me, very good player.

Q7. Score predictions.

I'd like us to win comfortably, but i'd be stupid to think you won't run us close. 2-1 to the Blues.

Thank you.

Hi

Q1. Has the season so far gone as you expected?
No , i was expecting us to start slow as usual but was pleasantly surprised although we need to continue the same form into the 2nd half of the season!

Q2. The transfer window is currently open, in which positions do Everton need to strengthen most?
Goalkeeper , Howard has been sloppy as of late and with Butland being rumored it will be a good buy , also a RM to provide cover as we seem to be injury prone lately

Q3. The game at The Hawthorns finished 2-0. What were your opinions on that game? A fair result?
With Gibson going off injured he was our main hub , you deserved your win earlier in the season and played very well against us , although i think we will take points off you this time around ;)

Q4. Do you think you have a good chance of finishing in Europe?
I think we have a very good chance of getting Europa but i would like to think we will get into the champions league although drawing to swansea and Southampton are games we should be winning if we were to seriously challenge for it

Q5. What are your sides strengths and weaknesses?
Baines/Pienaar partnership without a doubt is a strength as is Fellaini's Arial threat , Jelavic has been out of form recently so i would consider him a weakness in our squad at the moment

Q6. Which players should we be wary of in your side, and who do you fear the most in ours?
As i said before Baines/Pienaar Felliani ( although you did well to contain him last time around) - Lukaku is a big threat

Q7. Score predictions.
a one goal win to everton or a draw

Q1. Has the season so far gone as you expected?

Yeah, well considering that I had us down for a 8th placed finish this season.

Recent form has been disappointing though, I can't see us really getting out of this without a few players being dropped. However Mirallas should be back soon enough to bolster up that right-hand side.

Q2. The transfer window is currently open, in which positions do Everton need to strengthen most?

We need competition upfront and a replacement for the aging Sylvain Distin.

Q3. The game at The Hawthorns finished 2-0. What were your opinions on that game? A fair result?

Yacob kicked us off the park if I remember correctly? WBA deserved their 3 points mind, we couldn't move the ball around freely enough - entire lack of movement off the ball.

Q4. Do you think you have a good chance of finishing in Europe?

UEFA Europa League - Yes.

UEFA Champions League - No.

Q5. What are your sides strengths and weaknesses?

Strengths.

• Fellaini's ability to hold up a ball and distribute it brilliantly.
• Jagielka's defending.
• Baines' general work.
Osman's ball control.

Weaknesses.

• Neville's distribution.
• Distin's long ball.
• Jelavic not scoring.
• Questionable right-side.

Q6. Which players should we be wary of in your side, and who do you fear the most in ours?

Victor Anichebe - I got a feeling the Chebs is going to start ahead of Jelavic, he's got a point to prove and I don't think he's going to stop scoring goals 'till Moyes takes notice.

James Morrison - The lad got a perfect pair of feet when it comes to long-shots. Howard's suspectable at best in that area, so if he's fancying it from 25-35 yards out - we might have an issue.

Q7. Score predictions.

Everton 1-1 West Brom

May I also add that I've got a real compassion with WBA, you lot are crazy and we love you.

Kevin Campbell also rules.

Q1 - Yes, i thought we would be in and around the 4th-6th spots and be champions league contenders, also fully expected to be left regretting the missed chances in draws that should've been wins.

Q2 - Centre midfield, for the simple reason of how many starts phil neville has had in there this season.

Q3 - We were shocking and fully deserved to lose, gibson's injury didn't help though.

Q4 - Yes i can't really see us finishing below 6th place.

Q5 - I would say our main strength is our left hand side, teams have tended to double up on the pienaar/baines combination in recent weeks but with kevin mirallas returning from injury that will only give him and seamus coleman more room on the right. our weakness is definately the number of games we draw simply because we dont score goals when were on top and miss far too many chances in comparisson to the teams above us, need to be more deadly in front of goal.

Q6 - Kevin Mirallas, Marouane Fellaini if hes up for it and Osman is also having a brilliant season (the southampton game aside). and in terms of WBA i think Lukaku looks a good player but i think Distin is the right man to contain him, odemwingie is always a threat aswell.
Q7 - Everton 2-1 West Brom

Good luck for the rest of the season and do us a favour and finish above Liverpool lads.

Q1. Has the season so far gone as you expected?
Yes and no, i did think that we would have have a better start than usually but not this good. Its just irritating knowing we could be doing so much better if a couple of refereeing decisions went our way and if we buried games when we had the chance

Q2. The transfer window is currently open, in which positions do Everton need to strengthen most?
I think another central midfielder as back up and a centre back that will ease his way into the side and eventually replace Distin when he retires.

Q3. The game at The Hawthorns finished 2-0. What were your opinions on that game? A fair result?
I thought it was an awful performance and you thoroughly deserved the win.

Q4. Do you think you have a good chance of finishing in Europe?
Yes if we turn a few more of these draws into wins and have a strong finish i believe its very do-able.

Q5. What are your sides strengths and weaknesses?
Strenghts: Midfield Weaknesses: Goalkeeper and striker

Q6. Which players should we be wary of in your side, and who do you fear the most in ours?
Fellaini and Mirallas are ones to be worried about also Anichebe at the minute thats if he comes off the bench tho. Lukaku has to be the West Brom player i fear most.

Q7. Score predictions.
It will be a tight game but hopefully the mighty blues should edge it on the night.

Q1. Has the season so far gone as you expected?

Kind of. We were hoping to be in the top 6, challenging for a European, possibly CL place and that has happened. We've done well, but we've drawn too many games that we really should have won and should have been 3rd or 4th, so there's some frustration.

Q2. The transfer window is currently open, in which positions do Everton need to strengthen most?

An argument could be made to strengthen all areas. Tim Howard needs better goalkeeping competition for his place. Distin & Jagielka are a solid pairing, but Distin is 36 this year and won't last forever, so a younger centre half would be good. We need to strengthen the right hand side too, a right full back and possibly a right sided midfielder. And in light of Jelavic's goals drying up, possibly a striker too. Unfortuately we have little or no money to spend, so until Johnny Heitinga is sold, we won't be signing anyone.

Q3. The game at The Hawthorns finished 2-0. What were your opinions on that game? A fair result?

Everton were atrocious that day, WBA deserved the win. We've only lost 3 times in the league this season, which speaks volumes about how well WBA played that day and how bad we were.

Q4. Do you think you have a good chance of finishing in Europe?

We're in a good position, but we need to start winning games to finish ahead of Arsenal and Liverpool, not to mention catching Spurs.

Q5. What are your sides strengths and weaknesses?

Strengths - togetherness, team spirit, never give up, very hard to beat, the Baines & Pienaar combination on the left.
Weaknesses - Phil Neville, Steven Naismith; the right hand side of the team when Mirallas isn't playing.

Q6. Which players should we be wary of in your side, and who do you fear the most in ours?

In the Everton side: Kevin Mirallas, Leighton Baines, Steven Pienaar, Marouane Fellaini, to a lesser extent Leon Osman.
In the WBA side: Odemwingie, Morrison, Brunt, Long, Dorrans - all seem good players.

Q7. Score predictions.

A tight game, too close to call.

Thank you.

No worries mate.

Q1. Has the season so far gone as you expected?
We started better than I thought, but we have turned super gash overnight, so yep, thats Everton

Q2. The transfer window is currently open, in which positions do Everton need to strengthen most?
GK, Def, Mid, Str

Q3. The game at The Hawthorns finished 2-0. What were your opinions on that game? A fair result?
We got utterly spanked

Q4. Do you think you have a good chance of finishing in Europe?
Europe yes, CL, hmmm

Q5. What are your sides strengths and weaknesses?
Passing and creativity

Q6. Which players should we be wary of in your side, and who do you fear the most in ours?
Mirallas, if fit, nobody really

Q7. Score predictions.
3-1 Everton

.....boing, boing Baggies. Never forget being upset leaving Wembley in '68. Great to see you doing well this season.
Cant add much to other responses, but I think James Morrison is a quality player. Have to think we will get our revenge. It's a big game with 2 closely matched sides.

Hello!

Sounds interesting ... problems with "guests" eh? Do tell.

Q1. Has the season so far gone as you expected?
Pretty much yes. We do have a great first 11 so fourth isn't out of the question assuming we never get a single injury. Sadly luck hasn't been on our side for around 28 years now.

Q2. The transfer window is currently open
Is it now? Huh. That's kind of like telling a tramp that you're selling a Bugatti Veyron.

in which positions do Everton need to strengthen most?
Right side, DM, DC, striker. Doesn't matter we probably won't buy anyone (loans ... maybe a Gibson 500k type signing). I'd be very pleasantly surprised if we got anyone and wouldn't really care what position it was. Sign a LB FFS at least its someone.

Also, many of us think Baines is the best LB in the world. I would genuinely like to hear what your fans think of that.

Q3. The game at The Hawthorns finished 2-0. What were your opinions on that game? A fair result?
It's always fair when Everton win. ;) We outplayed Chelsea and lost 2-1 ... "fair" is meaningless. I am still shocked that you lot are good ... sorry. Edit: Oh wait I am thinking of last season (I think we won 2-0 in March?) ... then you won this year? I have no idea. No offence I genuinely do not remember anything about that game. Let me check some internets. Oh yes I remember now we had just crushed Villa and I think the team got a little over confident (early September we didn't realize how truly awful Villa were). So I think we expected to just show up and win and instead you lot wanted to play it out. We have that problem a lot actually. Need to have more of a killer instinct.

Q4. Do you think you have a good chance of finishing in Europe?
Yes. Real Europe? 15% chance. Crappy Europe that makes the team no money and hurts your performance in the league? 95% chance. If we don't get fourth I think it will all fall apart for us.

Q5. What are your sides strengths and weaknesses?
Left and right respectively.

Q6. Which players should we be wary of in your side, and who do you fear the most in ours?
Mirallas (who hopefully will be healthy) and Coleman down the right. We have to get our imbalance sorted out and a focus of passing down the right (rather than left) is the key to any success. A couple of through balls wouldn't go amiss either but I don't expect miracles. As for your side I once bought James Morrison on FM and he was pretty good.

Q7. Score predictions.
1-0 good guys (we're the good guys).

Thank you.
NO! THANK YOU!

Q1. Has the season so far gone as you expected?
better than i expected - we have had very bad officiating in the first half when we were playing well - too many draws as a result - second half the officials don't have to be against us we are playing poorly enough thank you -our resque was that other sides around us like yourself also dropped points lately - how can a side with 1 win in 9 games be 4th or 5th like us ? therefore i am surprized

Q2. The transfer window is currently open, in which positions do Everton need to strengthen most?
we need a real alround striker and not just a poacher like Jelavic - we need at least 1 def mid who can distribute from the back and a right wing with speed and accuracy of passing

Q3. The game at The Hawthorns finished 2-0. What were your opinions on that game? A fair result?
yea you were better on the day but the 50/50 decisions went your way

Q4. Do you think you have a good chance of finishing in Europe?
nope - we are anyway not playing well enough and our squad is too small

Q5. What are your sides strengths and weaknesses?
we tend to boss most games but fail to convert and then concede early and easy too much - apart from the last 2 games only 1 clean sheet the whole season - we almost always play with a single striker up front - but our passing game in the final quarter has not been good enough for that formation - we seem to play better once we go behind but tend to defend small leads - hence all the draws -if given space we can play attractive flowing football same as you - we carry a few out of form passengers in our team and we have no youngsters injecting pace - but we are probably the hardest team to beat - even if we play badly

Q6. Which players should we be wary of in your side, and who do you fear the most in ours?
on our side Baines /Pienaar , Fellaini ,Anichebe , Mirallas-
your side - Lukaku , Long , Morrison , Popov ,Ohlsen and Thomas -
i also like your coach for some reason - looks totally in controll and takes chances and rotates players

Q7. Score predictions.
too many draws between the 2 teams in the last few games - someone has to win - but i would settle for another draw 1-1 -
Good luck for the rest of the season - you are a brave bunch of loyal supporters of a team boxing above its weight - may we both finish above Liverpool and Aston Villa

Thank you.

Hello!
Sounds interesting ... problems with "guests" eh? Do tell.
!

Nothing like that, just enables our forum to load quicker so next time mind your own business

Must say, I do like Everton fans. Terrific set of supporters (as the replies have proved) and you're much more likeable than your neighbours.

Q1. Has the season so far gone as you expected?

In terms of generally where we are, I'd like to think we're in a fair position in relation to our team. But being there from the start is not something we're used to.

Q2. The transfer window is currently open, in which positions do Everton need to strengthen most?

We've got a small squad, as shown by our often awful bench. Would love a good striker for competition up front, another CB is probably needed, and ideally a creative midfielder. We will get none of them though. A loan if we're lucky.

Q3. The game at The Hawthorns finished 2-0. What were your opinions on that game? A fair result?

We were absolutely awful, no exaggeration to say that's a good contender for our worst performance of the season. Very fair result.

Q4. Do you think you have a good chance of finishing in Europe?

Well being 5th after 23 games and deservedly being there, you'd like to think so. However I'd still be surprised if we finish above Arsenal or Spurs.

Q5. What are your sides strengths and weaknesses?

Our team spirit is usually second to none and we have possibly the best left side in the league. Unlike previous years, this year we're creating quite a few chances.

Which leads me to the other side. We are the opposite of clinical. We very often let teams we're playing better than off the hook. Our defence, although getting 2 clean sheets in a row, have been very suspect this season (as shown by that near 4 month run of no clean sheets). Neville is a garbage footballer, if a decent "experienced" head to have. If you guys see Naismith on the team sheet you should be whooping with delight, he is awful.

Q6. Which players should we be wary of in your side, and who do you fear the most in ours?

If he starts and is firing, Mirallas is our most creative player and will cause you problems. Obviously Baines and Pienaar as well as Fellaini and Osman. That said, Fellaini hasn't been quite as dominant in recent weeks and Osman had a (rare) stinker vs Southampton. I'd give Anichebe a start ahead of a - for whatever reason - misfiring Jelavic.

If Heitinga plays and you have Lukaku starting, the latter will have a field day. Brunt and Morrison look tidy players as well.

Q7. Score predictions.

2-1 to Everton, but I would not be at all surprised if we didn't win. This will almost certainly be a close game.

Thank you.

No, thank you good Sir.
