The mark of a great goal is that it delights your eyes and heart. I celebrated like it was Everton. That's what football can do.

Zlat did it agains MY England with Ossie and Bainsy on the pitch.

It was a joy.

Exactly this.

Didn't matter who that was against. It was one in a million. Doubt we'll ever see a goal like it again. Even made mrs ijjy watch it (who said it was lucky incidentally. Bloody women).

When it was still in the air I jumped off my seat and went it when in I burst out laughing. I knew it was going in from the moment he made contact.

Never seen something so ridiculous.

I was in a bar with loads of England fans. Each one was off their seat laughing, clapping or cheering.

I said to my mate, who just prior had been calling him a cock and a massive egotist, that at the end of the day it takes such an ego to even think about scoring like that.

That is just ridiculous. Even the thought of it.

Best goal ever or not, it was clearly something very special. I didn't see it live, really wish I had.
What's annoying is Hodgson saying Osman played surprisingly well. Why pick him if then surprised when he plays well.

The way he sees Hart coming and immediately thinks to step back and wait for the header out, then turns, leaps, adjusts his (huge) frame in the air, connects an overhead kick on the laces and fires it with so much accuracy it evades the defender on the line and dips just under the crossbar...

I just can't stop watching it. Things like this remind me why I love football so much.
