Something to (almost) make you quit supporting Everton.

Nothing would. Ever.

My lowest point as a fan was probably when we got battered 5-1 on the last day of the 03/04 season. Although we stayed up, I was gutted, and not just because I knew I would get some good solid abuse from my City supporting cousin when I next saw him. I was only 13 and Everton meant the world to me, I mean, it still does. But at that age there's no other complications in life. I wasn't a student who'd just finished A levels and was going to uni, I was just an Evertonian. I'm still gutted and get in a right [Poor language removed] mood when we lose, but you can sort of see the bigger picture a bit more, whereas as a kid you think it's the end of the world.

Anyway, deep meaningful thoughts over, YE MAR.

Never even considered not supporting the blues but when we had Mike Walker in charge i couldn't even watch MOTD we were that poor

Never ever considered giving up the blues and never would for anything. The alleged fans who say they will stop supporting us when we go to kirkby just sicken me. With fans like these who needs enemies. I dont agree with every move the club make but that would never stop me supporting them. We have moved out of the city before and we will again. Get over it, its boring and tedious and NOT an arguement

This is a non question. It could never happen. I may be disappointed, upset, distraught, heartbroken, but always a Toffee.

And you would'nt want it any other way!

I too dont get the fans that wont go the new ground if it goes ahead. Whether you agree with the move or not, if it goes through what do you prove by not going? And what if its successful and brings success? Those people still wouldnt go?

I went through a phase back in the late 90's when i just got bored of football full stop really so didnt pay much attention to it or watch many games.

I also said i wasn't bothered if Everton won or lost.

Then on the final day of the 97 season when it looked like we were going down i just knew deep down i was wrong Everton were my team and i couldn't bare them to be relegated.

I was an Everton fan and nothing could change that.

From that day onwards not only have i been an Everton fan i have been incredibly proud of this club.

Sure there are good things and bad things about Everton, just like every club but there is only one club i want to support.

And that will always be Everton.

if the joey barton thing became a reality, and i get more concerned now that a former geordie is in the ranks who obviously had no qualms to allardyce signing the ****. ( it was allardyce wasnt it??)

anyway, if he ever played for us that would be the end of it.

erm.. so what's your point?

a new stadium with unobstructed views would stop you going?

Thats what Kirkby is all about?

Let me grab my prawn sandwich.

I have a pole in my way and a wooden seat at Goodison, the Top Balcony even shakes during mad celebrations but i had the chance to move but i like it where i sit, i love the stadium.

Im not arsed about a better view, Im arsed about my clubs future.

10k fans Wyness said we will lose and counting.

Danny how many Yes voters have you seen who have changed their mind due to the lies? Its lie after lie.

Well thats the way you feel, fair play. But I just feel, and in my very humble opinion that if we were to leave for Kirkby we wouldnt be Everton FC anymore. Or at least not in its current form. For me, there is no difference between Wimbledon moving to MK and us moving to Kirkby. I dont care if its 'not that far'. Thats irrelevant to me. We are a club from Liverpool, we were the first club in Liverpool and we should remain in Liverpool. How many Wimbledon fans do you think support MK Dons? You'd be hard pressed to find one.

It doesnt make me a lesser fan than you. I love and am as passionate about this football club as Im sure you are. The only difference is you are open to change, I am not and I wont apologize for it.

Don't he says its not an argument, no its your opinion and if someone wants to move to Kirkby then let them but they cant dictate what you do and they can't slam you for being a [Poor language removed] fan.

Because its a matter of opinion and no one is right and no one is wrong, I could easily sit and point the finger at Yes voters and say for wanting to go they arn't proper fans or arnt as good but i dont do that because thats my opinion no Evertonian regardless of how many games they go to or how far away they live is a bad fan.

If they stop selling the wonderful half time pies, the large ones, then my days are over and I'll base my next club on who has pasties on retail with generous fillings for a competitve price.

And note to those above: stop being tits.
