'Singing Section' arrrrghhhh its so lower league. Its the type of thing clubs do to get support and invite musical instruments into the ground

Posting some top notch stuff tonight Bren lid

Haha a clapping gif is one of the biggest signs of appreciation you can get on here. Cheers man.

I could put up with atmosphere being gash at Goodison if we stood at every away game instead of only 3 or 4...

I'll say it again, I've said it before, no matter what these global warming nuts say, it's still the troposphere.

Start your choir lads.

Essentially that's what our famous "away" support is, can't call them small time.

Bayern Munich 1985 = Often quoted as the loudest night in Goodisons' history.

Big Dunc against Utd, 10 years on...us pushing for the Champions League = Electric.

Arteta's goal against Fiorentina = Absolute screamer that gets us equal on aggregate to put us in the last 16 of Europe, Goodison literally shakes...

...Now why on earth would watching us limp to a 1-0 home loss against Stoke, QPR and God knows how many draws against teams with the same history as Twitter inspire an atmosphere like the above?

Give us something to respond to, and boy will we respond...pretty simple.

I'm all for lads doing something positive to help the club, making it better, but I honestly despair at this...

Cena, Brennan learn your Everton history boys.

Is it true what they say about Dixie, Are you from Dixie, 1920s at least the Everton singing section in the Gwladys Street existed from. Lads congregating at the back of the Gwladys Street to sing.

It lasted for decades to the mid 90s and unreserved seating ending. This is how you get round it to continue under seating, advertise the area. The same area that existed all that time, back, middle of the Gwladys Street. You criticise this and you criticise our history.

Nail on head.

Can't see why anyone would be against the 'singing section'.
The 'team plays well the crowd will respond' argument has only been the case against the big teams or in the cup games, we beat Sunderland and Fulham 4-0 and singing was still minimal.
Where as in the cup when we went 1-0 down to Fulham and the singing section was in place, the support kept going and the team seemed to up their performance with that.
It can also improve the atmosphere in the Lower Gwladys as a whole, as some people have stated it's difficult to get chants going, if all the chants began from this area than others can catch on and if people in the LG don't sing then there's no problem.
It's not one of those small time groups from lower league teams who stand next to the away fans, it's simply to provoke the atmosphere we know Goodison can create.
