"What's New?" Addition...

Currently, when you click on 'What's New', you land on what is essentially a 'New Posts' page.

vBulletin (our forum software) have released an addition to it called 'Activity Stream', which looks like this;

Would it be welcome on here?

You'd still have the 'New Posts' feature, but by default the 'Whats New' button would go direct to an Activity Stream...

We can do that pal - raised it before but a few felt it would be notification overload...

Fair point.

I don't know if I've ever used the 'what's new' link (I've always preferred the 'new posts' one me), so I would happily accept a new feature there.

Not sure I'd use it: "New posts" does what I want: but I can't see any harm in giving it a go and seeing what people think.

I like that idea a lot. Would make it easier to keep a conversation going without having to check back to the thread randomly hoping someone has answered.
