Did anyone here actually WATCH the goals DCL scored? Its a worse video than the Niasse highlights. One decent finish from a whole 6 yards out, and a host of embarrassment. Also 1 pen.

There’s absolutely no comparison. Beto has had an 8 game run in 2.5 years and for £28m has been utterly atrocious. He can’t hold the ball up, can’t win headers, misses as many chances as DCL and although when up to speed he’s certainly not slow, but his running strike means he’s too slow off the mark which is why he misses so many chances when all he needs to do is get a touch and divert the ball in.
Seems a lovely lad, one who would enjoy succeeding as much as we would.
But we should’ve cashed in on him in the summer and kept DCL, not saying this because Don is having a decent spell, I said it at the time.
Main reasons being, if both aren’t scoring DCL can at least relieve pressure or involve teammates, but also, despite what we think of the DCL and Beto have had 3 managers here (obviously DCL has had more but whilst the were both with us) and when fit none of them have had Beto as their first choice, that’s from what they’re seeing in training.

Don’t think that’s a good argument when in the last 6 games he’s scored 3 times as many as our striker have all season.

DCL isn’t scoring the right type of goals apparently, so they don’t count. If Everton had a striker on just a measly 4 league goals I’m sure we would be higher up the table. Beto should have been sold in the summer when his stock had never been higher, he’s bobbins and he was never going to be the answer.
What a weird take. They all count, and his goals are having a big impact on their season. Doesn’t make him a world beater, doesn’t mean we should have broken the bank to keep him etc, but if one of our strikers had scored 6 headers/tap ins in a row then we’d all rightly be happy and the club would probably find itself in the champions league places.

You are clearly clueless. You do realise DCL doesn’t choose where he scores from, he goes and finishes where the ball is.
I mean that Haaland fella is Massively overrated isn’t he, fella scores 20 a season in the 6 yard box, why do the league even count them.
