Actually could just rename EVERY thread with that title.

As long as it suits the majority of people tastes then it isn't classed as an issue. I think the majority are happy enough

Shame sky were incapable of showing the spectacle, the effort the 1878's do is incredible and seeing the footage since it looks brilliant. Can't see why anyone would be negative towards it really.

Light shows is a very Gen Z thing so they can wave their phones around and post it on Insta tonight.

As much as I love it added to the pre match setlist I don't think the La's was the right track to do it to either.

Same like it being played pre match and was the first time the club have dine something like that. Will only get better imo as the club and us fans get used to the stadium. Still made up looks amazing at night is a special stadium we have

TBF we were 100- years in Goodison, the 1878s were very involved in the later part of our time at Goodison, I don’t see be difference.

The events last day at Goodison were class. Half contrived, half organic, maybe you need both,

There were Cheesey bits at Goodison as well, the fanzone at times was cringe, Changy the Elephent, Mr Testicles etc (even for a good cause).

Humans as a species dont like change or transition, but it’s inevitable.

Nice to see that the players appreciated the pre-match efforts of the fans.

The Arsenal players (Trossard in particular) were definitely impressed by the Tifo and South Stand efforts.

It looked amazing imo as its something you just don't see in the PL

Incident in the upper south stand tonight.

Guy two rows behind me pushed the guy behind, and he went flying quite a few rows down the south stand. Was pretty bad. Hurt a few on the way down. Was just after kick off.

Don’t think the 8pm start helped. Crazy how the police had the power to demand the last game at Goodison was 12, yet that kicks off at 8 the Saturday before Christmas.
