I see that klopp bar has been turned into a blues bar, with flags on it all week. Sheer opportunism from the owners but I'm absolutely loving our new presence in the city center. Feels like a big step forward.

Not one of my hangouts (yet) but I believe the Cross Keys is busy on matchdays now that our fans walk up Old Hall St. ,also the Pig & Whistle which is a good little boozer.

It was a shocking deal really, and one we will definitely regret at some point. But history shows we have the worst marketing and commercial team around. Usmanov papered over the cracks for a couple of years by giving us ridiculous money for nothing.

I'd assume we are and have started revamping this department especially with the appointment of Arron Duckmanton in March and ex City CFO Martyn Hawkins.

History suggests we had one of the worst marketing departments under Kenwright and then Moshiri,but as you rightly said that's history,so we can't get bogged down in that.

Under TFG I am expecting different results but it's going to take time to bring the whole club financially into the 21st.

Totally agree .

Walking through time after the first game was brilliant just like a hold over from the Southampton game but even now the numbers are mad . Blues everywhere , wandering about and last weekend smiling and laughing.

It’s fantastic and will only get better as more pubs spring up around town and the walk to BMD.

Not going to reply to the tedious negative bellend any more but the CEO of Hill Dickinson, Craig Scott, is part of my loose group of friends who drink together before the match in the Ship and Mitre and I’ve known him since the 90s. He’s a massive blue, had a long term season ticket in the Park End a few rows in front of me and iirc his Grandad played for Everton. In my opinion, having a local firm like HD as sponsors is much better than some generic corporation with no ties to the area.

You must be mistaken as we have all been informed HD are Kopites.

Quite a bit of chatter on Scotland National Team forums re: possibly playing Argentina at the Hill Dickinson in the March international friendly window, anyone heard any rumours?
