Seats from Goodison

Never taken much notice of this TBH, but I always assumed the idea was that you could buy your own ST seat?
Is that not the case then?

It was initially for season ticket holders to buy your own seat, it was then widened to allow anyone to buy a seat.

So was I. But it looks like our seats are still being used for the ladies games.

I don’t mind though, I’m made up Goodison is still being used.

The seats have been taken out. Looks like Swiss cheese at Goodison, or at least it did, they should have enough from the unused sections to plug the holes.

Apologies I forgot to mention that I ordered a wooden seat with a good chance of getting a pre WWII seat. I wouldn't have bought a plastic seat if that was all that was left. Just want to have a bit of history

Exactly what I did, the wooden one was the only option for me, especially seeing you only get the base of the plastic seat.

These have started to be despatched now allegedly. There is, according to their misleadingly titled "Customer Service " team a fixed delivery schedule. However, they are reluctant to tell me where my order is on the schedule but, despite being told umpteen times it is a Christmas present which was bought and paid for last June, they are saying that it's "likely that it may not be delivered until January" or some such.
Seems like a bit of a mess.

Mine arrived today, they're the plastic seats and are ours as they have the numbers on the underside. Nicely boxed and presented as well, fair play.
