I thought is was a great team performance but the midfield in particular were imperious and absolutely dominated their (very good) midfield. KDH had another top class game, Jimmy Garner was superb alongside him. But I gave my mom to Charly, because I genuinely didn't know he had that type of performance in his locker. He was an absolute nuisance in the midfield, harrying forest players continually. The only one who had a wobbly performance was Jordan, although nothing got past him he was VERY lucky a few times where he parried the ball instead of catching it. Not a whinge by the way, it was a great team performance and it was nice to see lady luck smiling on is for a change! :)
The save on the quick shot that Anderson threaded through a bunch of bodies from Pickford’s right was very good.

….we now have 6 days, waking up and feeling content about footy. Winning does matter.
I’m asking out of curiosity, as an American who obviously didn’t grow up on Merseyside but has had similar dynamics, most notably in baseball -

We’re almost halfway through the season, we’re ahead of the RS, and if the table isn’t enough, we have an Era of Good Feelings with our shiny new park (transport issues aside) and our cheerful, likable squad, full of successful acquisitions, whereas that club is a train wreck of bad performances from all time club greats, even worse performances from very expensive additions, public sniping, manager on the hot seat etc.

So, are you having fun at the moment, showing up at work or school and giving grief to the RS supporters? Is it payback after years of the reverse? Do they run when they see you coming? Or is a small lead in the table not yet enough for that after years of the shoe on the other foot?

I hope you’re all having fun showing up on Monday morning with a big smile beneath your Everton hat and hearing “all right let’s have it and get it over with”

Sorry if it has been asked and answered..........did the ref touch the ball in the build up to our second goal as Dyche claims?

I think we need a poll for the 2nd best player of the match. We all it was KDH today. But I think we have a lot of contenders for #2 today. What a match.

Garner, but to a man they were brilliant

a win like this has been coming, we have a competitive side with a lot of heart and some really good technical players, and Moyes wants us to play and control games

Yesterday was perfect

I feel 13 again
