2025/26 Dwight McNeil

Maybe he put a little extra effort in because of the rumours Forrest want him in Jan. Hopefully Dyche has fallen for it and makes a bid, any bid, a free will do
Dont want this guy anywhere near the team after jan if he is still here. The way he has walked around in his few games has been a disgrace. Should have had his contract ripped up after the Wolves farce

Nice shop window performance. Keep those coming D Mc. We might get suitors yet.

Btw, still not a 10.

….they all have their price but Moyes has alluded to how thin the squad is and a player like McNeil is certainly one he’ll be delighted to make use of, especially with 2 midfielders missing for the next month or so.

Looked very decent yesterday.

Talk about holding a grudge...

Not holding a grudge FFS, just dont want anyone near the team who doesnt give a toss
How do you know how he's feeling? You're judging him on such a small sample size. I remember Doucoure sitting on the ball under Lampard and then being a regular under the next manager. Footballers are human and they have emotions just like the rest of us. If he was such a liability then Moyes wouldn't entertain him in any way shape or form

….he’s languid, a bit like Dibling. It’ll often disguise a lack of effort but it doesn’t mean they’re not trying. Indeed, a few posters on here commented that he was trying too hard.

Not sure if you watched him for U21s, certainly couldn’t say he was sulking or not trying.

His performances have been poor this season but I wouldn’t blame his attitude.

McNeil getting praise because he worked hard when he came on . He looks out of place now for me, that time when he had so much time on the ball and could have played Beto in and he didn’t even see him and played the ball where he was looking

Always puts a shift in. He’s not Grealish/Ndiaye level, but few are. We need competition & cover. And we need professionals with good attitude & work ethic around the squad.

I don’t get some of our fans who just want to punt players the minute they’re not starters. Have they seen our bench???? And Ndiaye off to AFCON soon.

All I could see was Baldrick playing for us! What the hell has that man done to his swede? He’s not only given himself a ‘medieval serf’ look, he has dyed it black to make it stand out more 🤣
Yeah he deffo needs to grow his stubble back.

I think him and Alcaraz go to the same barbers.

Can’t be easy being a first pick for several years then getting 10 mins here and there. Looked good yesterday, wanted the ball and gave us energy.
Still remember that time when he sprinted across the opposition’s back 4 to keep closing each player down.
Effort goes a long way to win fans over
