Do we need Gueye? I've said no all season. We beat United without him. We crashed to Newcastle and the likes of Baz on ToffeeTV were saying his championing of Gueye was vindicated and we were hopeless without him. Since then, we won at Bournemouth without him and are now 2-0 up without him.

Small sample size and this game isn't over yet, but I'm not remotely convinced we are anything like as dependent on Gueye as people think - or as we are on Ndiaye (who will be the true loss over the next month).

Thought Garner did well, Grealish not at his sharpest, I think this could be a long half.

Grealish been caught out a few times with the ball going in behind him. KDH stand out again for me

Most coherent handling of an attacking overload I’ve seen from us in a long time. Great runs from Barry and Alcaraz, and good pick out from Illy. Pass actually wasn’t the best in terms of weight but got the job done.

Very pleasing symmetry from the half time scorelines. Just need Chelsea to lose and us to score another 10 and we're up to 4th.
