The point I was making was that I was able to get a bus right up to GP's front door just before KO, no bother at all (I only decided to go last minute).... and that was despite 60k attending Anfield only a few hundred yards away. I cannot yet do that at HD because the shuttle buses from town tend to practically stop functioning about 1 hr before KO, due to the traffic (we've missed 2 Kick-,offs already, so we get there much earlier now, as two of our group have mobility issues and can't do the walk).

As regards afterwards, I now tend to stay in the ground for a pint after the match, but the buses have still been stuck on Grt Howard St when we come out. So, I generally walk to town or just get the train through to South Liverpool if I'm going home, as the train station is quite clear by then. Unfortunately our friends with mobility issues have started to leave early to get the bus before the rush, and don't attend night games at all now. So hopefully they'll resolve the traffic/transport issues asap.

There are some terrific grounds out there.

But honestly, what it tells me is this: nothing comes close to how spectacular our ground looks against the water. It's an absolute work of art.
