We've not got key players in form/ available. So those lads will probably win ball in the middle, regardless... But if KDH sits and Charly at the back of a diamond, we might also cause them problems.

Midfield is where games are won and lost in the main so Garner has to play there otherwise we'll not get a foothold in the match. Sure Patterson may be rusty but for the sake of balance he has to play

….my thinking too unless Moyes just thinks Patterson is too much of a risk. McNeil in CM is the other option.
