….i’m a critic of Patterson but I’d prefer Garner to play in an already depleted CM tomorrow. Not sure there’s any other option at RB unless Coleman has recovered.

With all the square pegs being hammered into any available hole at the moment, it’s more than a shame that Anznou and Dibling don’t enter anyone’s thoughts at all. Not straight swaps obviously, but they have been completely erased from existence.

By this point in the season they should at least have been a (not ideal) option, like move Myko inside, Aznou LB or LWB etc. Whatever. I can’t believe they are that bad when other teams buy randoms from the bottom half of European leagues and lob them straight in with no fuss at all.

Talk of playing Dwight LB or off the striker as a partial solution is damning.

….when they announce Keane ‘is doubtful’, I’d imagine he won’t be available. Replacing Iroegbunam is the challenge, I’d think that’ll have to be Garner.
