The Finney cross chance for Benjamin.
I was delighted with tonight's attendance for an under-21 match on a cold Wednesday night. We were never really in the game, except for the closing stages of the second half when we had two excellent chances but were unable to dispatch either of them. My man of the match was Pickford, yet Tamen also had a decent game besides conceding the penalty.
Boggan and Apter have both been called up for this months England U15 squad.
Josh Chigwada too at u15 camp. There’s been a few others that have got the odd call up (Ed Rose - U15, Levi Okorie got some U15s last season), but that would be the list of regulars.

What's our converserion rate of youth players who have had England/other int call ups into "valuable assets" (ie first team/suqad players, players sold for decent money, left for better pathway and reached/on way PL level)?
It’s probably a better ratio than we think. Limiting it to England youth ranks the last few I can think of are:
Anthony Gordon - PL level, sold for profit
Onyango - miss
Dobbin - definitely not PL level but sold for profit
Campbell - looking like a miss
Dixon - TBD
Simms - Sold for profit
Having a few lads in the international set up is somewhat of a novelty compared to the last 8-10 years.
