Arteta is finally going to win a title isn't he?

Should have ragged fabregas all over Goodison for that.
We got his best years pre injury and I didn't begrudge him a whirl in the Wenger side to pick up a few medals. A Catalan kid that wanted to play instead of rotting on a bench and sitting in the sun. A rare commodity in these times. An easy choice for our prem era eleven.
Arteta is Basque.

i think he will win it this year

even if they get injuries this season their squad depth is really good

this year everyone knows how good Arsenal's defence is and i remember a famous quote from sir alex which makes me thinks that Arsenal will win it this year

Had Gabriel injured and still smashed spurs.

Nah, nowhere near it.
🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻 look how all englands teams are doing in all European competitions, Liverpool have been garbage and are comfortable in league stage, Newcastle until this weekend have been below expectations in the league and are doing fine in CL, there’s no way that Arsenal aren’t one of the best 3 teams in Europe currently.

Why do we hate him and call him Judas again?

Is it because he dared to leave us? I can't remember to be honest, always quite liked him even though he seems a bit dim. Love a good nark.
Really it was time for him to leave when he did.

Arteta/Fellani seemed like it was a great pairing on paper but they didn't work well together at all. Both had their best matches when 1 or the other was injured. It was Fellani's team and when Fell had the ball Arteta would wander aimlessly looking for something to do.

He gave us his prime and when he left he wasn't the same player, his game at Arsenal was more on the lines of Joe Allen. A deep lying mid who sprayed the ball east-west while we were much more direct.

Hope he wins it. Great player for us. Clearly very talented at football generally. One of our best XI prem players. Arsenal captain. Pep assistant manager. Now 5 years of consistently making Arsenal better.

Whoever Arsenal's set piece and defensive coaches are deserve the title.

I cant see Arteta being any part of that.

I'd fancy Chelsea to finish runner up too.

(Couldn't see an Arsenal/Arteta thread open, btw.)

I'm not convinced yet, after only 12 games. I think the first title is always the hardest psychologically, because the players and manager haven't won it before and they have thrown it away before. If Chelsea and City stay close to them, I could see them bottling it again. One thing is for certain though, Liverpool wont win it this season, which is a relief. :)
