2025/26 Idrissa Gana Gueye

I wonder if that might be the end of gana as a starter.

If a player comes in and makes the position his own before gana comes back from the afcon. That might be it for him.

If love to see kdh give a run there imo. Looked really good there today

3 match ban plus disappearing for AFCON along with the injury to Röhl - it's going to leave us very short in midfield
I wouldn’t say very short. It’s far from ideal because he’s pretty much a guaranteed starter but there’s iroegbunam and Alcaraz as actual midfielders, McNeil as someone who can fill in, and they seemed to suggest rohl won’t be out beyond Christmas. We’ll have to have a bit of acting but it’s not quite down to the bare bones I don’t think.

It might not be a "good opportunity" but he still needs to go. I can't recall him being anywhere near as angry with an opponent. This is someone you see almost every single day of the season. Anyone trying to excuse this is a gobshite because it's OUR player. You think we'd be as understanding if Suarez did it to a teammate? As bloody if.
Are you always this judgemental?

You state you have never seen him this angry, so why wouldn't you take even a moment to consider if there is a backstory.

Have Keane and Gana been unfriendly for a while?
Has Keane been rooting his wife?
Has Keane racially abused him?

I am assuming you know exactly as much as I do about the back story, so to call for someone to be sacked with absolutely no knowledge of why this happened is ridiculous.

Considering Gana held his hand up and said it's all on him then no, I don't care about a backstory. He did this. Go slap your coworker and see what happens.

Well that escalated.
