….an outfield footballer plays over 300 football matches and fails to score a goal. I think that’s a very poor reflection on him.

I did actually see him score an absolute screamer once in a Youth game at Gigg Lane. He was a midfielder then and I actually recommended to a lower league manager that he was worth a look at as a full back, somebody at Everton clearly had the same thought

Think he'd be over our transfer budget though and probably be £40-60mil.

Villa is the main team i could see go for him aswell. The likes of Chelsea and others with european seem pretty settled there
