2025/26 Jack Grealish

Lovely to have him and Ndaiye here, but jeez they both will be with bigger teams next season. Way above our miserable league.
Ndaiye hopefully will still be us but I can see plenty of clubs looking at him now, Grealish will be with a bigger club if he goes back to City but I doubt that they want him back and I can’t see any other big club coming in for him if they have to buy him and pay those wages as well.

He’s wasted constantly hugging the left touchline. Barely drifts central, which is baffling to me.

He's more just wasted in this team. Only player he could link up with is on the opposite flank too far away from him.

Problem with him drifting into the centre is that we would have absolutely nothing on that side of the pitch in attack due to Mykolenko.

we could play ily left, grealish central and dibling on the right

I think Moyes should definitely change things around and that's an option in my head. I'd give it a go at the weekend. If you can't do it against Fulham at home then why can you? Decent team that they are.

we can’t be underestimating fulham

silva will come to attack and pick us off, kevin will have a field day against obrien

Of all the false 9 shouts I'd pick him over Ndiaye or Alcaraz. Never seen him take a bad touch under pressure, stronger than he looks and knows how to buy a foul.

also not the worst shout

he rarely loses the ball and he's built like captain america

dont think he's lashing himself on the end of a cross though

idealyl we want jack creating, like when he put on the easiest chance thierno barry will ever get last night when we were 1-0 up

He’s not the issue, I love that he is here, but given the players around him, would we be better with a £18m lightning fast whippet who’s only intention is to set the full back on fire and rifle the ball across the box?

Be really interesting when he ages if he can morph into a deeper playmaker or something. He’s the best LW as a footballer we will probably have in my lifetime, but will he be the most effective given how we can use him? Not sure he is LW we need really, being honest.

More Moyes fault than his though if we can’t utilise the most talented bloke in the squad.

Mate, he hardly ever loses the ball and should have had another assist last night only for our striker to miss an absolute sitter.

We’re a better team with him in it and last night was always going to be a tough game against a solid side, away.

Maybe he could be better utilised in the middle, but I think him being 1v1 against a full back is his best position. It’s just a shame we haven’t got a decent fwd in the squad as we’d be a much better side if we did.

What a cross that was BTW for Barry, whip, accuracy, almost impossible to defend. Shame Barry was leaning back to the point I thought he was going for a lie down. Was absolutely begging to be slammed into the back of the net.

I feel like he should be on about 9 assists if players had taken their chances
yeh what a ball, needed an Andy gray diving header didn't it.

Barry got his approach to it all wrong unfortunately.

it was the shot hitting the post that frustrated me more, feel like Grealish deserves a few more goals than he's got so far, hope he can keep plugging away as they'll come.

Not Jack's fault if he puts a goal on a plate for someone and they put it over from a yard. It was a superb assist

Yep, if he keeps getting shots away they'll start going in. Could easily have had the one blocked on the line against Spurs and one last night.
