I think I can safely say we got away with one there. The first half hour and last 10 minutes aside they had us on the back foot. It's beyond me why he brought McNeil on, and why 14 people voted him MoM, he did nothing apart from giving the ball away.

I went for Michael Keane as my MoM, he is a completely different player to the walking disaster area of 12 months ago.

Got away with one for the pen i kno they did have control over the game the second half. But didnt really create anything big deflected goal, same with the pickford save. Then the handball by keane. For me is just a game looking back missing chances barry and alcaraz that we should have done better. Still feel is a game we should have won that first half and would have been hard for them to cone back. Poor subs from moyes

Remember the Summer and everyone biting their fingernails over Gana resigning. And now he's possibly the poorest player of an average team.

Still disappointed, more in some of the decisions by Moyes.
I love JOB but he’s not mobile enough for a full back, Garner suits it better.
McNeil substitution baffled me.
He looked miles off the pace and Moyes should have known.
We had a youngster who cost 50M, why wasn’t he on instead.
I’ve been Moyes biggest supporter but he needs to freshen things up, including his tactics and subs.

This is him for anybody interested in reading up, his journey has been tough and incredible really. Apologies for sidetracking the thread also

Have you / him thought about possibly looking at possibly turning that into a screen play mate, as the bits I`ve read there are wonderfully written, very moving, tell a real story and only my opinion, would translate to a very good drama ?

He's very articulate mate, he's doing a lot locally to promote cancer related issues. Been in the newspapers on the radio, all sorts when he can. He recently got a poetry book published. He's definitely an inspiration to me and you're right it would make a good story to tell.

The saddest part for me was every Evertonian knowing what was coming the moment Barry fluffed his lines, unfortunately it has been within this club for years now but for me it falls on the fragile mentality of the players and the management, the lack of character, someone getting hold of the rest of them and saying we don't throw this away,an example being the last 15 minutes of the first half,we had our warning then, and what do we do come straight out full on panic mode and concede within a minute,a passive team and passive management.
No real leaders in the team, we need a group of players with Colemans Leadership skills.

Have a look at Stephen Graham and Jack Thorne`s websites - they co wrote the wonderful Adolescence for Netflix.

There`ll be a contact for an agent, rather then them direct, send it to the agent(s).

It`s the type of project I could see them being interested in ;)

Nah, sadly that`s either Beto / Barry.
I would have still kept Barry on personally. Yes it was an awfull miss, but he is improving parts of his game each time we see him, and giving him a bit of faith to make up for that error rather than dragging him off once again doesn't help, he now carries that miss in his head plus a big lack of faith/backing from the manager. Knowing that you are going to be hauled off each game for a player that offers no more than you, isn't good for either.

I'll be seeing him tomorrow I'll have to remember to mention it to him, sounds right up his street that.
