I fancy us to win this on a set piece. Moyes is stubborn and a win tonight will copper-fasten that stubborness for the Fulham game. We'll drop points there, then, as a resullt, and go into the United game in mid-table but just high enough to keep the wolf (Wolves) from the door. Classic Moyes.

He'll discover his best team by default just after Christmas and surge to 11th and an FA Cup fourth round elimination to a Championship side. For plenty, that'll do. The Friedkins will show their "ambition" by keeping him in situ. We'll limp along in our lovely rugby league/pop concert venue out of the limelight, a threat to nobody. Good times.

I feel like we've seen this so many times before. Moyes teams are consistently really bad in the first half of the year before he works things out.

It takes him about 5 bad games to notice the problems and then about another 5 games to make changes and then we finally start to improve.
Moyes is normally forced in to playing his best team through injuries.
