From the first game that Alcaraz started with Beto against Palace last season the two of them seemed to click and Beto looked so much better with Charly supporting him. We saw it again a few weeks ago in the Palace game when they came on together for the second half. I don`t see the point in having a pair of players that look like they play well together and constantly not playing them together. The day we beat Palace last season Alcaraz came in for the suspended Doucoure so even that wasn`t a Moyes master stroke, it was a change he was forced to make, and he put Charly out as soon as Doucoure was back from his ban.

He did, but then also started vs City and wasn't very good, which people seem to forget.
