2025/26 David Moyes

We’re caught in a transition in my opinion, invested in a lot of players who need to be bedded in and developed at this level, the ones we have brought in to start are being double marked, it will take time to develop and build cohesion.

We’re also short in key areas other teams are targeting, full back and central midfield.

Managers job to find an on field solution.
Transition is just an excuse that bad teams make.

We spent good money in the summer but unfortunately it looks like a lot of it was wasted. We should be doing much better than we are and I dont see any reason to allow excuses or to be patient.

Everyone at the club needs to do better. The players were dreadful today. The manager is doing a bad job and made an inexcusable mistake in the Wolves game. The recruitment team failed yet again. And the new ownership haven't got the right structures in place yet. We don't even know who is ultimately responsible for new signings.

Transition is an excuse for bad decisions. I dont believe in what we are doing.

We needed the spending to have had blend in mind.

We just look like an easily contained collection of slow paced ball players.

We need pace all over this team.

It's where that Wolves game comes back to bite again. Could be looking at a win at home against a weakened Chelsea midweek to get our season back on track into the quarter finals. Instead we're sat around without a game for over 7 days.

Baffling one today. I didn't feel like there was much in the game, but we've lost 3-0.

Frustrating to concede twice from corners in the first half and ultimately that's what's cost us the game.

Do we blame Moyes for that? I guess so, but we've generally been strong defending set pieces under Moyes so that would be an odd one.

3-0 suggests we've been battered, but that isn't how it felt. About 1-1 would have felt like a fair result on the balance of play.

I haven't read any posts on here, but I'd expect 3-0 illicits a lot of overreactions. Don't blame anyone, that's a tough one to stomach.

The blueprint is there now for all PL opponents to see and easily nullify us. It's like Groundhog day, with the ball shovelled out to Jack and Ndiaye and them hitting a brick wall of two or three defenders.

It's getting to the point now that you just shake your head and laugh at the amateurishness of it all in sending out a team to attack like that with no variation whatsoever.

It was an inexplicable mistake and showed he's not the right manager to move the team forward. It's a decision that wrecks a season and that's not an exaggeration. He should have been sacked after that game if the club had any standards.

We won't get our season on track unless we try to do things differently. This system with this 11 doesn't work. And if we are going to defend badly and be bullied at set plays then we have no chance.

As good as Jack has been , the dependence on relying on jack to Initiate our offensive forays , stalls our attack, he has become so isolated
I like Jack, he seems a great lad but he slows the team down and tbh I hope we don't sign him on a permanent deal. We should be using him this year as a mentor for Dibling then let him go and Tyler step up.

Spurs were always in control of that game apart from the first 10 minutes or so.

SPURS.
