Surprised more teams haven’t fired corners right at him. He’s never been comfortable dealing with crosses or corners and doesn’t like coming out to claim them. Be interesting to see if more teams try that after today.

Tbf, as a team it was our defence or lack thereof that allowed Spurs to take an extraordinary number of corners today. Conceding a goal was the final step in many breakdowns before it.

Both Wolves goals should have been dealt with by wandering defenders
West Ham was a good strike by Bowen
Palace was on Mykolenko leaving a massive gap
First two Spurs goals he was crowded out for one and pushed on the other

You see your goalie vulnerable in a goal situation you do anything to avoid the goal. Protecting your only player that can hand the ball would make a lot of sense.

Second corner - pushed off balance

They beat us with 2 great set pieces
Everyone knows how good Van de Ven is on set pieces and we let him free both times..

We let him do whatever he wanted multiple times tbh, saw JP punch out a few that were right on his head and couldn't work out why we weren't learning from it
