Match Thread Everton 0-3 Spurs . Sun Oct 26th. 4.30

Pickford too soft under crosses, always has been.
Our goal was disallowed for offside, not a foul on the keeper, if Ndiaye and been on it wouldve been given.
We badly need a striker with a semblance of composure
They deemed it was interfering enough to stop the keeper getting to the ball. Van der Ven pushes Pickford to stop him getting to the ball, and then scores because of the push. If one is interfering, so is the other.

……0-2 is difficult to take in such a tight game where we’d done ok up to a point. Unsurprisingly, our threat is from wide areas with plenty of crosses into the box but again we lack the finish some of the wing play deserves.

Definitely dodgy VAR, one blocker rather than 2 on their keeper might have made the difference.

Difficult to see a route back, be interesting if Moyes brings on Alcaraz and maybe sacrifices Gueye.
Yes, I would take of Gueye and drop KDH in beside Garner, see if it works. Gueye has been running around headless that 1st half and we need someone through the middle capable of running with the ball.

Pathetic set piece defending against a side whose manager is known for set piece details. The first Gana doesn't even move to follow Bentancur, the 2nd it's never a foul in a million years just Pickford being a flapper under the ball (which has always been a weakness of his)

Gana needs to be hooked, had an absolute shocker, Beto's playing like he's just learnt of the concept of football and is trying to figure out how his legs work when running and kicking.

Just really inexcusable those set pieces with how important teams treat them these days.
