Forest fans actually seem happy about appointing him. I get he did ok and saved us from relegation but I find it baffling that with the money and players they have, they think he’s done anything to be happy about.

After 25 disastrous years, we’re just just desperate to stay in the PL. That’s all that matters. People say we get ahead of ourselves but 99pc of us just want to be an established PL team.

He would keep.you up with ease ,any half decent manager would.
He did it with us when he came and your squad is better than the squad he had.
He went right of the boil towards the end, but there is no getting away from the fact he did a decent job keeping us up.

You have good players, so you aren’t near the territory of needing someone like Dyche. Dyche has a pretty unearned reputation tbh, plenty of managers manage to not get their teams relegated year after year, and twice he has been sacked because his teams were going down.

For all he kept us up in the last year, he was the one putting us in the relegation zone after that. Moyes came in and showed the players were capable of better, even if they weren’t the best.

I’m more pointing towards how boring the numbers on the right will be mate. Ange is crap, never suggested otherwise.
Exactly, the crazy Greek is just going for a different flavour of crap with Dyche, but it might suit the squad better than the fraud Aussie manager perhaps.

Their ethos and way of playing are bi-polar opposites of each other, the players heads will fall off, just insane.

There is also this myth with Dyche that he makes teams defensively sound, and while he might bore a few results here and there, I don’t remember us being particularly solid under him?

We were just very boring and didn’t create many chances and were so negative that opposition pressure eventually took its toll.

We relied on Pickford heroics far too often.
