2025/26 David Moyes

I honestly still dont see what point he was trying to make, I guess its cos, like you, I cant look past some nobhead asking me how often I beat my wife.
Can't really take anything the guy types seriously after that. Maybe it's cos I just called the police an hour ago on my neighbour beating his missus up again. Not a great look for the poster, his head's gone the last hour.

just need more logic, like tim allen on home improvement... but replace power with logic...

Are people still kicking off to losing AWAY TO MAN CITY?

We had enough chances in the first half to have got something from the game. They then switched up a gear in the 2nd half. As a squad of their quality and cost can do.

We started 10 players who were playing for us last season.

Realism needs to hit some people and soon. We aren’t at a stage were we are going to away to the likes of Liverpool and city and should be expecting to win.

….there’s an anti-Moyes faction who blame him for everything when we get beaten and say nothing when we win.

I think while some of the talk is over the top. The way i see it is that Moyes record in these games isnt good enough. Its one of a few flaws he has. Just look at Man Utd winning at Anfield yesterday, i dont think Man Utd are better than us. This is what churns on fans who saw it for years under Moyes and im a fan of Moyes

He has an inferiority complex, you can tell by his knife to a gunfight and shopping at Aldi quotes. That's why he's suitable for us in our current state but not if we get better players, because his mentality makes it difficult to win anything.

His record in those games speaks for itself doesnt it. I think man utd, arsenal, chelsea and liverpool the old big 4. He never won a single game away to those clubs in his whole time at Everton. He only beat Man City away while they were transitioning into a bigger club and Spurs were not ever a top team when he won there. Surely it would be sensible of him in these games to say to one of his coaches, look my record in these games is miserable, maybe you take the reigns for this fixture and see if you can have a positive effect on the players here.

…it’s clearly a fair point. I know he sets the team up but it’s the players who are on the pitch, you’d think just once or twice they’d force a victory even if the Manager has an ‘inferiority complex’.

What nonsense is this, are you a politician
It's just a shorthand way of saying cups involve a massive amount of luck to win (especially on a limited budget) so pointing to others who have won isn't evidence that Moyes has done a bad job not winning one. We have won 5 domestic cups in our entire 130+ history. One every 26 years on average. And for most of that time we were one of the clubs right at the top end of the wage spectrum.

Utter gonads on here.

We had the best player on the pitch against one of the richest teams on the planet and by far the most successful team in the country in recent years.

We're a long, long way from midtable well run clubs like Bournemouth and Brighton.

Moyes has been a superb appointment and this team is better than we've seen since Ancelotti.
