2025/26 David Moyes

Erm, did he really?

Yes, he had wins away at Anfield and Old Trafford.

Also beat Manchester City in a domestic final, something that Moyes has never done in the UK. Won a major honour.

His record against the big teams is abysmal home and away, going by the statistics. If you cherry pick one or two results you can always make a fake case.

Remember when we finished 11th with the best Striker in Europe, twice and then he sued us for 10m.

Hes a bellend.

Moyes walked out on us and then said we held players back when he tried to buy them on the cheap and called us fans a disgrace.

To be fair we’ve had loads of managers since Moyes and none of them won away at these places either. (Empty stadiums notwithstanding). As a club our record in these games is absolutely unbelievably bad.
It’s probably the attitude that he installed in his first term that the club hasn’t ever been able to shake and that the fan base has sadly absorbed.

Other clubs have been able to shake it by hiring decent established managers. As a fan base we cling too hard to our Moyes mediocrity blanket.

I can believe I’m going to knock out Gennady Golovkin but it’s not going to help me when he punches me up and down the street!
We are a top flight professional football team playing other top flight professional football teams. You need to have belief to have any chance at that level of sport

I'm assuming you're not a professional boxer so the analogy doesn't really make sense.
