We didn't play badly but I never thought we would score and that's more than just a striker issue.

There were excuses made on commentary on why our penalty appeal was right not to be granted because it was accidental, but similar accidental handballs are given for certain teams/reasons. Same goes for Haaland's petulant push off the ball, it was a nothing but other players and teams would be punished. It probably wouldn't have made much difference to the result today but the bias is tiresome.
Didn't think it was a pen but also didn't think it was dissimilar to the Dewsbury-Hall one against Brighton.

You either give them or you don't. Can't pick and choose depending on the team.

Disagree...
Pickford was not to blame.
Not Moyes's fault that we have no proper striker.

He was at fault for the second as the ball ends up in the centre of the goal but he then makes a few saves to keep it 2-0.

I read a statistic yesterday that Moyes has never beaten a team that finished in the top 3 from the previous season. That is staggering and clearly shows that both he and we are beaten before these fixtures even kick off.

Stop watching then. That was a very good performance for an hour. The tactics were spot on and we should have scored a couple of goals.
Games are played over 90 and who scores wins them.

“We were good for a half” is the story of the season with us, but this doesn’t always lead to anything other than a loss.

We were okay today and Beto was mostly crap. KDH offers nothing in games like this and with this playstyle, 3/4ths of the backline was horrible - JOB, Tarks and Keane were garbage.

He couldn’t see the ball at all, camera right behind him showed it quite well

Between October 13, 2005 and October 13, 2025:
  • Manchester City recorded a home win percentage of 71.2% in the Premier League.
  • Liverpool had a home win percentage of 67.1% in that same 20‑year span.
  • Arsenal during the last 10 years (2015‑25) had a home winning rate of 67.0%.
Over the last five seasons Liverpool lost at home nine times and City lost 10 times.

When the top teams do actually lose at home it tends to be against another top team. Lesser sides winning is rare as hen’s teeth.

so if beto scores we would of said
“no it’s ok we don’t want that goal now”

honestly i give up with half of you

That's my opinion also.

The rules are that open to interpretation now that an identical incident can be argued as correct/incorrect either way. It just depends on the agenda/narrative. It's tiresome.

We've had a few penalty appeals ruled out that were probably the correct decision but were no different to the one given against Tarkowski against Leeds.
