Gave it a go, did ok first half, second half they went up a gear and their world class striker started to get a bit of space and he delivers.

All in all, not having a clinical striker has cost us again.

Overall though, a good 60 minutes, but as soon as City went up a gear we couldn’t cope with them. A 2-0 loss away at City isn’t the end of the world, but until we get a decent striker in I feel like this is going to happen a lot

Before the inevitable forum meltdown, it's worth reminding ourselves that so far this season we have lost to

And we're in a comfortable mid table position without any competent full backs or strikers.

Cliches…but goals do change games. Beto has to be scoring one of those two in the first half.

Not overly disappointed - it’s an unfair playing field with the riches they have on the pitch and off the bench and our best player out - when Cherki clicks they will be unplayable.

Ndiaye pure class as usual but ran out of gas. Thought Rohl looks a decent addition from the little I’ve seen. Branthwaite goes straight back into the back 4 for sure. Very slow in there.

Decent enough performance but a predictable defeat.

We had some chances and a decent first half, tbh somewhat better than I feared.

Not sure why most of our defense seemed to forget what a player Haaland is, thankfully Pickford didn’t. So glad he has signed his new deal.
