I don't think any of my points or how they are made equate to either of those things. It's football we all have different preferences and opinions to some degree. I don't like a Moyes type approach, some people do.

Neither can say what 50,000 people think and I don't think anybody, other than a couple on here, are losing the head with Moyes or asking for a change so naturally I wouldn't expect that at the game.

However I hope we can agree a relatively large portion of the fan base would either have been getting sick of him in his first spell and grumbled about the poor spells, poor footy or poor record against bigger teams and in cups AND/OR didn't like how he left and handled himself afterwards. So my take is that a lot of those fans will not be Moyes supporters now. Some will still have no time for him (small portion it seems) but more will be happy with what he has done since he came back but will have no real emotional attachment to him staying on beyond the summer and will also be more prone to complaining when things like the League Cup exit happen. That's something that can build easily if we hit bad form. But so long as Moyes is avoiding long spells of poor form he will keep the majority onside. I myself would be happy with a change at any point if the appointment was right, but also will not be screaming and shouting if they decide to stick with him next season.

However I do think that those who are big Moyes fans and are excited at his return, who are not a majority, are struggling to accept that others are not that bothered and are going a bit overboard on here handling a bit of criticism of their manager. It's gonna go round in circles until he is gone

The few you're talking about on here, going back to the latter days of Moyes first spell in charge, aren't even posting. @chicoazul is still alive, I believe. There was @Goat and Reidy, and Ijjy, D&D, LCAB, Baz (THT) and a host of others. The numbers were much smaller. like, but one of his his biggest critics back then? Yep, you've guessed it.. Mr. @davek

By the time he left, there ws an influx of Kipper hounds, but it was never a cut and shut case. The arguments wet on for about 5 years of his reign, and nobody could ever come up with a compelling argument to sack him. He's still the best manager we've had since Howard, and he's not buried with a bottle of sherry just yet.

However I do think that those who are big Moyes fans and are excited at his return, who are not a majority, are struggling to accept that others are not that bothered and are going a bit overboard on here handling a bit of criticism of their manager. It's gonna go round in circles until he is gone

I wasnt excited by his return, it signalled to me how much we were on our arse, but after appointing the worst manager in football, Sean Dyche, after the 2nd worst in football, Benitez, it was kind of a relief.

He came in and got results, something the aforementioned worst manager in football couldnt with the same group of players.

Sure, the LC defeat wasnt good, but hey ho, Everton getting knocked out of cups has happened for the majority of my lifetime, before Moyes and after Moyes.

We currently sit 8th, very early days, but 2 years ago people would have sold their Nan for 8th after 7 games.

Hes not a long term appointment and Everton arent even anywhere close to being a team you can make moves with, probably never will.

Thats the truth people need to accept, we are utterly finished, we peaked in 1987.

I’d say that’s true, but for once it isn’t the fault of the club. The game is very much rigged, and Everton are ‘finished’ because we are not allowed to be anything but. Should we show some ambition then ‘financial fair play’ will be right there to knock us back down, as Villa are now finding out.

He's a limited safety-first manager who'll always fail to be bold when it's required. He sees Everton as a club he can do that with and we should feel happy about it. That was the reason there was an army of people wanting him gone prior to when he left last time for United.

That's just on the playing side.

But it's a disgrace he's back for a number of other reasons, not the least of which are:

• He disrespected this club publicly after demanding players off us
• He backed the Kenwright regime up and told fans to back off wanting Kenwright out
• He marginalised and belittled our greatest ever manager HK

I look at Moyes and his arrogance and wonder just how hels been able to con so many Evertonians that he's better than what he is, never mind 'a legend' in the eyes of many of them.

I detest that man like very few others in football, and the cash that's flown from fans into his and his family's pockets over the years is a disgrace and needs looking into.

I didn't. I just saw the mess this club was in and knew we needed a united front to get us through it...while you and others were determined to destabilise the situation further and risk our PL existence...

I dont rate or like him. Simple as that.

Above all, I see him as a poster boy for an era of Everton mediocrity.

When we have no Moyes we can begin to move forward again.
