I don't think you were alone mate . He was erratic and a hothead . While he's still a bit of a madman ( keepers are like drummers , the best ones are a bit weird ) he and his family are settled and he's obviously taken so much to the city that he has matured and become more focused.
Best English goalkeeper ever and our second best .

It’s funny, I’ve never ever disliked him to the extent where I wanted him out, but 5-6 years ago I criticized him heavily at times.

Now, I absolutely adore him. He’s a top keeper and we’re lucky to have the mad b*****d.

Southall will always be number one for me, but nothing wrong with setting your goals high, and if he ends up smashing it, there will be no one happier
