Finally from me, two personal asides if I may;
October 5 1968, 57 years ago today was my first ever Palace game. Happy Anniversary to me.

My 5 year old granddaughter ( a budding Evertonian), knowing her Grandad has been in poor health lately and on joining her Dad and brother watching the game and seeing the score (1-1) said “ I hope Everton don’t score again, Grandad will fall to pieces!”
😆💙

Dunno about theft, think we deserved it for the second half imo.

They should have be 0-3 up in the first half tbf, but ultimately weren’t so only got themselves to blame. We couldn’t have been that bad in both half’s!

Nah - second half it was pure Everton. Blood and Thunder - chasing everything. We deserved those 3 points today

We were indeed better second half. They should have been 3 up by the time we started playing like.

We know exactly how that feels, as we've been utterly criminal in front of goal for years. Lost count how many games, especially at home, we ended up losing because we simply couldn't score.

Made up with the victory, but the game should have been far beyond us — tbf makes it all the sweeter.

Give Beto a lot of stick but he’s much better when we play to his strengths and he was a nuisance when he come on, goal doesn’t happen without him so fair play

I would keep the first 11 close to how we finished off the end of last season with KDH and Grealish the big upgrades the team looks for more balanced I don’t think the other new signings have really hit the ground.

Gueye looks to be losing his edge a bit, sloppy on the ball sometimes. Reckon he could do with a break. Either Tim comes in or Garner sits a bit deeper with KDH. Would also means we could accommodate Charly who I would say has earned more game time after that performance today

Tarks has had a pretty poor start to the season for me

They should have being going in HT 3 up. At least.

Yep. Staggering they only scored once, and then 2 more unbelievable chances 2nd half.

Don't think anyone is under any illusions we didn't particularly deserve to win today and there are glaring issues to address, but I for one am delighted we hung in there and we did - eventually - come to the races.
