Feel like i say this after every match but the ref was awful again

For both sides to be fair.

They just seem to make really poor decisions every week as they have no backbone to actually consider what they have seen (e.g. Garner booking, yes he pushed the player but nothing violent or malicious just getting him out of the way as he was illegally impeding. No more force than what happens in the box every single corner. And Wharton booking for what wasnt even a foul).

Thank God for Jack's instinctive finish because Beto should be bursting the net having had the freedom of the Hill Dick with that header.

Apart from scoring … not sure what else Beto could have done … powerful downward header .. keeper knew nothing about it

Yes, all players can have off games. Beto isn't brilliant but as you say can cause problems. Its the lack of options and consistency that's a real concern for us.

Barry looks like a player struggling to adapt to a new league.

Different position but reminds me of when I've seen Wirtz for that lot.

One point that's not really been touched on but given that var absolutely showed tarks was punched in the stomach (how hard it was is irrelevant) does this now mean that a punch to the gut is not to be punished?

I thought that, clearly a punch and he was lucky not to get a red.

I was so annoyed with this. It was so clear they was hoping Palace scored. They have gotten so tied up in the headlines about palace being unbeaten and them maybe even challenging, they didn’t want us ruining their headlines

The ref added more time on the extra time than the other clown added on for the whole game against the RS.
