I won't argue that Beto and Barry leave a lot to be desired, but they are reliant on supply. How many attempts or touches in the box are we seeing anyway. To me the clear issue is our fullbacks. Myko and O'Brien offer nothing in relation to combinations and overlaps in the final third. That isolates our creative wingers to create solely from 1v1 situations, which limit their own attempts let alone the strikers.
Until we actually have capable fullbacks that add to attack I won't be shocked if our difficulties continue. Its modern football, we essentially are building attacks with two less players than what's commonplace. For all the complaining of our strikers I think it's better served scrutinizing our failure to address what was known holes at both fullback spots. Myko isn't good enough and our RB depth is arguably comparable to championship sides.
