…..might suit us more facing a team with more quality at home. My fear is we’re totally ineffective in central attacking areas and Palace are very strong at CB.

I’m making my BMD debut for this, I wanted to wait for a league game and my son can’t use his ST this Sunday. My last Goodison game was our win against Palace last season so I’m hoping it’s an omen.

Good to see the Moyesiah pick the logical team. Remember, he was always good at getting the most out of squads that were riddled with injuries and suspensions. It was as if the reduced choice clarified his options. I think there's a touch of that today. KDH - who has been one of our better players this season - seems to reduce other options. With him out, things are clearer.

I expect a better peformance today as a result.

I'll never understand the logic of it but Pep and Ancelotti have done the same at times so its not just an Everton manager thing. Surely one of the under 21s could of been called up with us being at home though, someone like Clarke or Graham or even Tamen
