Grinding out 1-0’s and draws to get us to 40 points is clearly the first objective he has set in his own mind. Villa and West Ham are four points dropped at home as a result of this mindset. Needs to change immediately and with a very tricky palace up next.

Love this scenario where Davey has zero say on all transfers into the club, and just had to accept whatever player the recruitment team foisted on him, so now he’s sulking by not picking any of the young lads.
I didn’t like his cryarsing during the transfer window, moaning about the recruitment team he was a major part of, he should have owned any failures as much as them.
We are where we with the squad, it’s about how he uses what he has now, and recently he’s failing. We don’t have the luxury of time with the new recruits, get minutes into them and see what they can do.
Just like to see a little tactical nuance/different shape and system to fit the players available and Moyes trusting the bench to make changes when it’s clearly not working.

I understand you want to apply what seems to the best layout of players on the pitch as much as you can but you have to be more versatile if you're encountering struggles in winning the game , or maintaining the game which I'm tired of managers here trying to not to lose , the squad isnt perfect but his apprehension and tactical inflexibility is becoming a liabity
At West ham other than Antonio did he ever have a striker that produced regular goals? And even Antonio wasn't that prolific never scored more than ten in a season. Moyes seems to struggle with finding ways to make his Strikers thrive

This is Moyes, he won't change. Likes older reliable 6/10 players, never changes the shape of his team, rarely loses from a winning position and hardly ever wins from a losing position. The whinging was because he wanted his family to be in charge of transfers! What is Moyes' reluctance or unhappiness with data/analytics as part of identifying potential transfers? Is there something solid you're basing that on?
He wouldn't be in the professional game at top flight level if he genuinely couldn't happily abide the use of data analysis when scouting worldwide for players. It's used to whittle down vast numbers of players to a selection that can then be scouted properly. It's a complimentary tool to refine and improve traditional methods that would struggle with a worldwide market.

If you did than you should see why this could be a harder transition for him, with moyes not having a bigger say on who he likes rather then having to chose out of a pool handed to him, could be why we dont have a RB, why he cant stick with one of Barry/Betto, certain players not getting more minutes to show themselves..
I'm not questioning Moyes, I doubt you'd find anywhere that I have, I was just listening to Angus explain the clubs approach moving forward.
I said it could be a crack, I didnt say it would be a crack, he might just have to give an inch on how he likes approaching things.
Apparently Glassner's contract with Palace ends after this season if might not be plausible with him winning the fa cup and how good palace have been recently but if it's remotely possible we should go for him and just tolerate boring ass safe Moyes for one more season, even though his flaws are irking me so much
