I think that’s the best description for him - carrying too many passengers tonight! You’d think he were the squad player trying to make a claim for the starting 11, the effort he put in.

Definitely the most consistent, even when out of position.

A happy change for me and I hope he gets his nice new contract and continues it.

James Garner in one word - tough.

He has really stepped up this season. I love watching him control the midfield and direct the match.

Well yeah I'm hoping Rohl is back, Tim Iroegbunam don't rate but maybe? KDH looked a bit lost in the CM role. We've got Gana who runs for 2 people in the middle so we might be better off having a passenger in midfield than full back. Like I said though I really don't want to move Garner but we can't have this again, I think teams are going to be very interested in how West Ham got in behind us (not that it probably wasn't very obvious anyway).
