Lose on Sunday and he’s gone
Or have a shot himself every now and again.I love Grealish but when he's dribbling inside the box he needs to pass a second earlier, before it all becomes too tight.
Dibling. So if you take Ndiaye off for Alcaraz, who is playing on the right then?
He’s not being fed the balls he had end of last season all he mainly gets is the ball hoofed up to him that isn’t his strength as we all know that’s why he looks poor. Needs service which he isn’t getting. The amount of times I saw him run behind but no one thread the ball through to him when there were a few times he would be right in on goal but the just passed the ball sideways insteadLet's face it: we are not getting any better until we have an actual striker in front.
Loved beto in the second half of the last season, but now it seems that he has confidence issues again, he can't do anything right and he's just not reliable enough to play in the prem.
We just need to scramble as many points as we can until january and then hope for a good transfer window.
The lack of effective striker is on everyone involved with the club other than those who pointed out our strikers aren’t good enough.….disappointing result but maybe fair given the threat West Ham carried. For me, the key was failing to score in the first 20mins of the 2nd half with KDH and Grealish linking so well on the left.
I see the anti-Moyes brigade jumping on lack of substitutions but he made the obvious ones.
The lack of an effective striker is really hurting us at the moment, be a whole different ball game if we had genuine threat in central attack. A few players put in ‘busy’ performances, KDH was decent but Michael Keane the obvious MoM.
This is true of both sides, and results in the play being slowed down time and again.I thought KDH was o.k actually. When Grealish is in the game he is usually drifting out to the left and creating overloads.
What this side desperately needs is an overlapping LB to benefit from that space. You can see Myko trying but getting into the opposition box is so far out of his comfort zone it is painful to watch.
