Let's face it: we are not getting any better until we have an actual striker in front.

Loved beto in the second half of the last season, but now it seems that he has confidence issues again, he can't do anything right and he's just not reliable enough to play in the prem.
We just need to scramble as many points as we can until january and then hope for a good transfer window.
He’s not being fed the balls he had end of last season all he mainly gets is the ball hoofed up to him that isn’t his strength as we all know that’s why he looks poor. Needs service which he isn’t getting. The amount of times I saw him run behind but no one thread the ball through to him when there were a few times he would be right in on goal but the just passed the ball sideways instead

KDH is suspended for Palace so I'm guessing Timmy will come in. Not lost at home to Palace since 2014. Sounds odd but I was more concerned about West Ham than I was playing Palace

I've never hated the club more then I do right now. Never. I despise this team. I can barely tolerate the manager. I miss Goodison despite the fact that the atmosphere there was just as crap. There's literally isn't one single thing I like about this club anymore. Time for me to call it a day at the end of the season. Someone else can have a go who enjoys paying outrageous prices to watch the most garbage togger imaginable.

….disappointing result but maybe fair given the threat West Ham carried. For me, the key was failing to score in the first 20mins of the 2nd half with KDH and Grealish linking so well on the left.

I see the anti-Moyes brigade jumping on lack of substitutions but he made the obvious ones.

The lack of an effective striker is really hurting us at the moment, be a whole different ball game if we had genuine threat in central attack. A few players put in ‘busy’ performances, KDH was decent but Michael Keane the obvious MoM.
The lack of effective striker is on everyone involved with the club other than those who pointed out our strikers aren’t good enough.

Lots of debate on this forum, but this type of result will happen over and over again whilst we have the striking options we do. Anyone and I mean ANYONE who has any involvement with the club, whether staff or fans who thought Beto was going to be enough this season is to blame.

I thought KDH was o.k actually. When Grealish is in the game he is usually drifting out to the left and creating overloads.

What this side desperately needs is an overlapping LB to benefit from that space. You can see Myko trying but getting into the opposition box is so far out of his comfort zone it is painful to watch.
This is true of both sides, and results in the play being slowed down time and again.

Rather than a full back flying past the man with the ball and drawing a defender or receiving the ball we end up having to take the safe 10 yard inside pass to garner/gana and all momentum gone.
