Happy Ryder Cup eve

…..the irony of ‘fans’ calling Rory McIlroy a ‘ D1ck Head’. An unbelievably talented young man who has a reported net worth of £260m and who appears to have a decent set of morals.

Maybe not surprising given the angst and standards set by their President.
For what it may be worth, the fans I know here in the States are unanimously appalled by the crowds behavior and are all rooting for Europe - “likeable” is the word often used

Bradley is a New England sports fan. He was saying he was taking inspiration from a famous superbowl comeback win for his Patriots team from 28-3 down at half time.

The problem is that New England had one of the greatest and possibly the most successful NFL coach of all time. I'm not sure his leadership is quite on that level.

Throw in that Atlanta were a talented team but had little experience in winning which is an accusation that can't be leveled at this European team. A grand slam winner, major winners supported by PGA and DP Tour winners.

I am not a golf fan but I am a fan of any sport played well and the European players are playing well. I notice that posters are drawing parallels between the behaviour of the American fans and the behaviour of their first citizen, I am not sure this is warranted, it is a sporting contest fans get carried away. Provided they are not engaging in criminal behaviour let them rant, it appears to be part of playing in an American Ryder Cup. The answer to the over enthusiastic Americans is to behave like Rory McIlroy and give a little back but then pick up your points and move on.

Has there ever been a Ryder Cup when one team won every single session. Europe are 4-0 on session wins.
Really hoping they go for the jugular and make it 5-0
I've just checked this stat and it has been done before. The last time was in 2006 when Europe won 18.5-9.5 in Ireland. Not sure if an away team has ever won every session so I'll keep digging.

Not sure Donald (the good one) worked out his lineup too well.
No one match you could say is Europe's despite the dominance last couple of days
Tommy vs Thomas (US's best so far)
Rory vs Scheffler (Rory could be tired playing one of his fellow greats, unthinkable SS could go 0-5)
And Rambo vs Xander - can the big dogs of Europe keep up this unbelievable golf.
Spaun vs Straka, Pat in a hat vs Aberg, Henley vs Lowry and Griffin vs Rasmus are all very winnable for US.

Hovland may have to forfeit to the worse player for US in Harris English bc of injury.

Rose really needs to beat Young in the first match and it's over, if not it could be a domino effect with insanity to ensue.

Cmon Europe send thos vile creatures back to bed.

Yeah my initial thoughts were that the match ups favoured the US and then I remembered how good the Europeans have been over the first 2 days.

You don't work that hard to build up such a commanding lead to throw it away

In addition I don't think we can underestimate how beaten the US team looks , it must be very difficult to get yourselves up after you've been thumped so badly.

Come on Europe , win every session it would be incredible.

…I’m not his biggest fan but I always find such things ironic, a bit like the idiots who do the shaken hand sign from the terraces to talented footballers.
