Nearly October and this fella has only been available for 1 competitive game.

No, because I wouldn't class them as fans.
Pickford?
That’s mental. No keeper should ever concede a goal through their legs.
Pickford should of done better for the second goal
Through the legs is the hardest save for a keeper, depending on position of attacking player, keepers will normally be edging to a certain side, more force down on one foot, so to suddenly change your mindset, it will normally have already beaten you..No keeper should ever concede a goal through their legs.

No its not thats why you dont see it very often.
Most keepers are trained to go down to one knee and bring the foot inside( covering the space between the legs) and the other leg will be outstretched.
For instance if you were a keeper covering your left hand near post and you were facing a shot you would drop down to your right knee using the right foot to cover the space between your legs and the left leg outstretched to cover the near post.
This allows your upperbody to be positioned over the weight of your right knee and mean that you could lean more to your right in order to cover more of the far post to your right.
When facing a shot you should never leave your open legs uncoverd as its the simplest shot to take. Ekitike essentially just passed the ball to pickford but because pickfords legs were wide it just went right through him and into the net.

At least we know we didn't injure him..we just signed another injury prone playerNot like us to sign injury prone players.
Rohl played almost 50 Bundesliga games across the past three seasons for Freiburg and was a second-half substitute for Germany in the final of the U21s Euros in the summer, which they lost to England.
He made his Everton debut off the bench against Aston Villa earlier this month but has missed his side’s last two games, against Liverpool and Wolverhampton Wanderers, due to injury.
And Saier, speaking to FussballTransfers, has revealed fitness issues were one of the reasons his club decided to sanction the deal.
He said: “There were external factors such as injuries and illness, for which Merlin cannot be blamed and which we have to accept.
“After his return in the second half of the season, things went well for the team, and it wasn’t easy for him to get into the starting line up.”
Before he added: “What role will Merlin play for us? In which position will he secure and consolidate a starting spot?
“What difference will he make in terms of scoring points? Because if you don’t make a transfer like that, you have to keep a real, consistent return on the pitch.
“Merlin, too, was keen to take this exciting step, the conditions were right for us. Merlin was only very rarely used in the centre, at six or eight, but was mostly deployed in the attacking positions.
“Especially behind the striker, we have personnel options in Johan Manzambi, Eren Dinkci, and Yuito Suzuki, whom we believe will develop well with regular playing time.”
Absolute balls.
Every top keeper has been beaten through the legs, if it's timed well and accurate it's one of the best places to put it.
Every keeper has been beaten at the near post as well but if a keep is beaten at the near post you'll still say they shouldn't let it in
Ask any keeper what the hardest save to make is..
No, that's a generalisation too.
