This is in no way to say Barry is better, it just emphasises that us not signing a striker good enough to immediately replace Beto this summer was the worst business we did (or didn’t) Beto is hopeless.

1000% spot on. Of course only so much business could be done in one window and our resources only stretch so far, but going into the season with only 2 natural strikers on the books is as negligent as it is criminal. Especially when both those two probably wouldn't get a kick for most teams in the Prem.
