Other than Keane and Tarks, NONE of our players talk to each other. Or give encouragement. Barry had his little shot then and forced a corner. Walking back into the box, no little low fives or brief comments about what he could have done. Everyone just wandered past him. Weird. Lot of pointing as usual, not much barking.

Seamus has been great for the club, but it’s flat performances like this with a few young/new players you’d want a great on-pitch captain to either kick arse, or encourage depending on the player. Might be great in the changing room and around FF, but how often have we seen this performance and it takes to HT for them to wake up.

Players have come and gone, but the players on the pitch NEVER sort it out for themselves.

Most of these players haven’t taken the opportunity to impress here. A real
disappointment.

Think that’s the main disappointment of the night, but even more worryingly it’s shows how threadbare our squad is. The drop off in quality is alarming.
