I dont agree with it all. The squad is for injuries suspensions and loss of form, as well as potential cup ties against lower league opposition.

We've seen this so often under basically every manager. We wonder why we haven't won anything in 30 years yet never play our strongest team in winnable Cup ties

Away from our game. Why on earth are Liverpool ITV’s choice for the TV game? (We all know why) but wouldn’t it be great if these TV companies for once selected the closest matched cup game.

FWIW, ITV doing it isn’t as bad as when the BBC select UTD for every cup game, as they don’t rely on advertisement like ITV do.

I think it'll be a safe assumption how it'll go with all those square pegs in round holes. It's the message it sends to the fans as well, no one wants to go Wolverhampton at any time never mind a Tuesday night and that's what's served up.
