I could be wrong but Nike and Adidas will obviously be rivals in terms of sports clothing and I’m sure would want their branding next to the badge if they make the shirts, I also remember going to the emirates after a few years of it being open and it was just a concrete bowl on the outside, there was some upper glazing but I think they may have improved the look of the ground from the outside over several years.
I noticed in this SportsPro article published since The Observer hit piece the other day we are referred to as ‘Foundational Tenants’.
Have to say, it doesn’t sit well with me seeing the club described as some sort of transactional entity with the stadium, seems an odd choice to describe our home.

No you are correct. Arsenal signed the deal with Adidas in 2019 so that is when that photo is from at the earliest
EDIT: Based on the graphic on the advert that is from the 2020/21 season as that was on their home kit

Nor me. That article is just self-promotion by the agency though, in an industry publication.
I assume Hill Dickinson got the rights because their bid was the highest and they were acceptable in all other facets to TFG.
I do find it a bit amusing though that you conduct a global search, only to find the most suitable partner happened to be under your nose all along. It did strike me as a bit of the old parochial Everton that the new era of commercialism was to consign to history. Though not all parts of that are bad, obviously.

The Etihad is also a stupid comparison as it had no naming rights for years before becoming the Etihad so of course there was more Man City signage up

The two shipping containers now ‘food trucks’ with the generator / freezer behind them added to plaza have a semi permanent look to them.
Considering the money and effort spent on the rest of the build out, they look very cheap and tacky. Disappointed with that.
