I was always skeptical about loaning players with the option to buy. I never thought we’d get Lukaku but we did. We got burnt with Deulofeu. I don’t care about football as much as once did, so I’m going to just enjoy this moment.

What’s your point? Like I said, I don’t understand this fixation Blues have with players tracking back. Palmer is not a Everton player and never will be so bringing him up proves nothing, Doucoure tracks back for 90 minutes but I wouldn't want him back over Grealish.

No one is paying £50m for a 30 year old with a year left on his contract.
As someone said earlier - this is an accounting measure for their books - probably to fiddle PSR again.
