Is that like Yerry Mina used to be fit for the run in but crocked all season?

Not really no. Mina started 7 games in his final season. Tete started 21 PL games last season. He actually started more than quite a few Everton players did.
Surely the fact he was starting games at the end of the season shows any injury was at least not affecting him. Fulham arent showing him the door either so they must think he's worth keeping. Just seems as a free agent now he wants a longer deal.
Is he worth going for? I dunno. But reading last few pages of this thread is classic GOT. People going on like unless he's prime Cafu lets not go there lol.

Will be put through extensive medical and fitness examinations by Everton before a contract is signed by the club. We need to trust the club on this one. Most of the time players who pick up horrific injuries at Everton have never missed a game in their lives, so hopefully he's already got his bad injuries out of his system.

Fact that Fulham were offering him a deal says to me at least they were not to concerned about long term injuries. We need a right back. O'brien was excellent i thought but he may be needed in the centre.

…..I think they also got Tete for ‘buttons’.

I thought he was terrific up against Ndiaye in the game at Goodison earlier this season, very impressive performance. Injury record clearly a concern but I’d be more bothered if it was the same thing continually recurring, especially thigh muscle related.
